Utterly unbelievable 3 for 10 menu this lunchtime. Was told about this place by a dogwalker in Castle Eden Dene. It was only a further 10 minutes drive. Seated quickly in the bar area as I had my dog with me. Cheerful lady and young man serving. Great local artist Ellis,had work on display to buy. I bought 4 cards foe 10. My food was sensational. Garlic mushrooms on ciabatta to start Halloumi kebab with salad, chips extra, sticky toffee pudding with ice cream 1extra. Bargain 13,plus drink. It was very busy in the main restaurant, so be prepared to wait 20 minutes between courses as is cooked from fresh. Will definitely return. Thankyou
Just had a fantastic, delicious three course meal. I had Black pudding scotch egg, followed by the Bishops Bait Cod Burger and then Bramble apple crumble and custard. My better half had potato skins and lamb koftas and brought her crumble home for me to have later :) Tremendous value at 3 courses for 10. The quality was amazing. Highly recommend
It was mine & my family’s first visit here on Saturday and it did not disappoint. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken starter and the chicken parmo for my main. Both were cooked to perfection, the curry sauce that came with starter was lovely, and the cheese to chicken ratio on the parmo was perfect, not greasy either. All of our food was fresh and hot, can definitely tell that it is made to order. Helpful staff and lovely food, would highly recommend
Meals here are great, especially Sunday lunch but thought we'd try week day menu, 3 courses for 10!! ......(small supplement on some dishes) still a fantastic deal. To top it off, it's dog friendly otherwise we'd have never have tried it , thank you.
What a lovely place food was excellent fresh and hot. Staff were friendly helpful and lovely to talk too. Will definitely be back with our dog as she loved her sausages . Excellent value for money.

What a great venue! Staff were all polite and served us quickly. They have created a really nice atmosphere. The food was beautiful. Steak cooked beautifully, everything well seasoned and neatly presented, tasted delicious. We will absolutely be back here again, what a great, cosy, quirky restaurant.
